You cover the major dimensions of OD very well here.  As your humble servant read your analysis, he started to compare your analysis with the ancient Chinese wisdom from Taoism.  Be soft, nimble like a young tree that can bend in the wind.  Do not be hard, stiff like an old tree that cannot bend in the wind.  In essence, this tree metaphor applies to OD as well and aligns with your analysis.  Be the OD spring tree, not an OD winter tree.  Dr. Rux
