Teachers need to walk in student "shoes" from time to time to keep balanced perspective.
Dawn, clearly you have reflected carefully on putting "first things first" in the creation of your rankings. As a professional educator all of my adult life, your humble servant here has found it useful to become the student from time to time as a reality check on desired teacher behaviors. In other words, become the customer to gain customer perspective. As the old saying puts it, "Walk a mile in my shoes before judging me." We need to wear "student shoes" from time to time to keep balanced perspective. Keep up your good work. Dr. Rux
