"Permanent Things"

As Conservatives, we respect and promote the "Permanent Things" in human life. For example, traditional moral foundations are basic to a healthy personal and social order. "Permanent Things" also include the family, the church, and private property. Of course, all of them are under increasing attack in our time. Gay marriage - an oxymoron - takes aim at destroying the historic family. Whacko judges more and more restrict the expression of traditional religion and its value in the public square. The middle class, the historic champions of widespread ownership of private property, is collapsing around and on us. The result is rising chaos, the opposite of a Conservative temperament, which values healthy order.
