Immanuel Kant assesses our times in America.
Johnel, thank you for summing up your discussion of ethical leadership with Immanuel Kant's teaching that humans are ends, not means. This is a stellar, time-tested insight; you apply it superbly here. This means, for example, organizations ought to seek to develop the human potential of its members, not exploit them and treat them like ciphers and cogs in a machine. The greed in our society as a value sadly turns humans into means, not ends. We can see the results in the deterioration ongoing around us. Dr. Rux
