Ethical Time Out to Reflect on Lifestyle Choices
Brandy, yes, it is street smart and healthy for us to take time out to reflect on our values, habits, and where they are taking us. The wife of this writer in fact this very night as we ate our dinner in a superb local upscale restaurant reminded him to pay more attention to his health habits. A week ago he stopped, at the urging of his wonderful wife, drinking coffee non-stop. The result has been a huge increase in stomach comfort and huge decrease in stomach gases. You get the idea. She an I sat in a nearby state park here in Florida which features water falls, a lake, and woodland trails. You get the picture. We took time out to reflect on habits, or ethical behaviors, good or bad. As a result of this quiet retreat into the water falls and woodlands park, this writer has improved his health by making better choices - and drinking tea now. Yes, it took time out to hash this out; the improved stomach health has been the result, a blessing. Dr. Rux
