Ethical Factors - Menu 2

Group 2, this is impressive.  In particular, your discussion of how the following factors impact ethics is stunning!
1.  Respect - Yes, mutual respect is basic ethics.  We, as Kant would say, treat each other as ends in ourselves, not as means, tools to get something.
2.  Physical - Yes, how we treat our bodies, or mistreat them, is a powerful factor in shaping our ethics.  The wife of this writer is a living example of this, for each morning she goes to the gym.  Twice a week she goes to Zumba dancing.  The result is a loss of 20 pounds, and a whole new spirit in her.  She is, thankfully, rubbing off on this writer too!  He is now starting to pay closer attention to his health as a value, ethic, too.
3. Family - Yes, our family is crucial.  It is interesting you mention the mother; you mention no father.  Boys without fathers are adrift.  Maybe mothers can compensate, as you suggest here.
4.  Peers - Yes, as the old saying goes, "If you sleep with dogs you get fleas."  Adolescents are especially prone to peer pressures, for good or evil.
I love your PowerPoint!   Great job, Team 2!
