A knock from Nock!
Kelly, Paulo Friere in effect restates the ancient Greek tradition on dialog as the best way to learn. Dialog exists between two persons who share. Socrates sat literally on a park bench and dialoged with Plato his student. Plato in turn sat on the same bench and dialoged with his student Aristotle. We know the results. Your humble servant had the great fortune once to visit Athens, Greece, and the philosophers grove where they sat. Note how learning has nothing to do with parking lots, technologies, budgets, buildings. Albert Jay Nock, American philosopher made this point when he gave his Jefferson Memorial Lecture at the University of Virginia. He pointed to personal dialog as the engine of learning. The rest is bureaucratic empire building. What think you? Dr. Rux
