College President in the Pipeline

Clearly, you are gaining practical value from our work in our course.  Also, you more and more are coming to think like an administrator, manager, leader, and even more exciting, you are starting to "warm up" to the challenges of systems thinking, not just classroom expertise, although it is needed too.  I forecast, predict you are going to be a great administrator; you may even become a president.  Presidents must have spouses, for boards of trustees do not want single people in such jobs who seduce secretaries and students and female faculty.  They want to know your home life is in good order.  Often for high level jobs the hiring group will interview the wife as well as you.  How you are on the job will reflect also how well your home life is or is not going. I have a project in the pipeline; if it goes forward, I will in effect be a college/university president, my original goal.
