Plato defines ethics, once and for all time!

Plato defines ethics as behaviors that do not injure others or ourselves.

This is basic biology. It is universal.

It applies to all people in all places at all times Nobody wants to be involved with persons who will hurt, kill them.

Notice the word is behavior, not belief. Watch what I do, not what I say.

Pain is the basis or foundation of ethics.

Paul Rux holds three degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison: Ph.D. (Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis), M.A.L.S. (Library & Information Studies), B.A. (History & Integrated Liberal Studies). He holds a M.A. in Educational Theory from the University of Toronto, where he was a Graduate Fellow. He also attended Trinity College, University of Dublin, as a special one-year student in the Honours School of History and Political Science. He is a founding member of the Knights of Divine Mercy. His wife Jane and he live in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. They have two grandchildren who live across town from them. He is an active member of the World Future Society, has published in its journal The Futurist, and presented at its annual international conference.
