Three Cheers for Socrates!

Johnel, like you, your humble servant here loves Socrates.  He loves to quote:  "Know thyself."  To this you have added:  "I cannot teach anybody anything.  I can only make them think."  Of course, this is another way of stating the classic concept of "Socratic dialog."  These "old timers" got it right; we simply rediscover their wisdom.  Thank you for expanding on Socrates for this writer.  Yes, as American philosopher Albert J. Nock put it, "Education is two people sitting on a bench exchanging insights.  It has nothing to do with parking lot and building budgets."  Amen.  FYI  I once had the chance to go to Athens, Greece, and while there, I had the chance to visit the places associated with these classic thinkers.  Thank you.  Dr. Rux
