"Know Thyself" - Socrates

Although you do not reference much of the content of our course here, you do a good job, however, with explaining your ethics.  In particular, your advice to "Know thyself," the timeless advice of Socrates, is crucial to ethical development.  We must be self-aware before we can ethically mature.  You "hit the nail on the head" good and hard here.  A course like ours provides time, space, distance for us to step back and take a close look at ourselves from an ethical frame of analysis.  What we discover, of course, varies, and as a result, how we proceed with this self-knowledge will vary with individuals; everybody in this course must say that doing the assignments have been an exercise in the Socratic "Know thyself."  Good job!   Dr. Rux
