Without proper ethics the rest is useless.

Kendrey, you and I share the same ethical roots, foundations.  Your humble servant here has earned four university degrees.  However, as he reflects on his life, he has come to realize that the most important education he received was from his family, his church, and his parochial grade school.  They taught me right and wrong.  As my late father said to me, "If you do not know right and wrong, everything else is useless."  He never finished grade eight; he was intelligent and insightful.  Above all, he knew right from wrong, based on our religious Faith, and gave this gift to his family.  This writer is following his example now and is thankful to God for blessing me this way.  As I sat in church today during service, I thought of my family and how I feel there presence, core and extended family, when I draw closer to my God during the  focus and reflection time of worship.  In fact, I hope to be able to do more for others in this regard, parochial education; teaching for Concordia is a giant step toward this.  Thank you for listening.  Dr. Rux
