Decisions and Budget

Jeanine, your inclusion of how decisions are made and how budget is allocated are crucial.  This is the heart of the matter.  Decisions equate to sales in business.  Nothing happens until the sale is made; in this case, nothing happens unless you convince the power structure to buy your proposal.  Also, nothing happens without budget.  As my old Ph.D. dissertation chair taught, "In the end it is always about budget."  Budget is how we "slice the pie."  Some folks have zero-sum mindsets, if you get a slice, they lose a slice.  Decisions are budget are crucial "firsts."  Dr. Rux
