The Value and Tradition of Love of Learning

Marta, thank you for your kind message about my basic values. More and more, I am coming to understand that at the core of education we find basic values, and in the case of your humble servant here, these basic values have deep, strong roots in time-tested, traditional values. In my career, I have been blessed to have mentors, role models, sponsors, professors who passed to me their love and value of learning. In my own way, I am seeking to pass forward these values to and through students like you. I attended a class reunion over the weekend, and the return to my old school and schoolmates reminded me of how much my teachers loved learning, and how we caught this love from them.  Now it is my turn to pass on these basic values and the love of learning that they support.
Keep up your outstanding work. Dr. Rux
