The 80 - 20 Pareto Principle

Stephen, again, your humble servant here is partial to Pareto.

If we find the "vital few" and focus on them, the crucial 20%, we generate 80% of the outcomes!

However, we must also realize, that the "vital few" can also be a handful of negative complainers, whiners, and other disruptive losers who in fact distract from the 80% of what we do right!

The negative 20% can be like a cloud blotting out the sun!

Pareto cuts two ways - 20% of the winners and 20% of the losers. Both winners and losers create 80% of the positive or negative outcomes. Focus on them like a "laser."
