Power of Purpose

This is a powerful reflection on your insights into personal and professional ethics because of our course.  In particular, your opening discussion about having a purpose in life is "spot on."  Management research tells us humans crave meaning.  We want meaningful work, jobs, relationships.  This writer took his two grand kids, ages 6 and 8 to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday past.  For them it was fun.  For your humble servant here is provided meaning.  Like you, this writer believes God has created him and placed him into this existence, world at this time, place for a purpose.  This writer has come to pray for guidance to find and purpose this purpose.  He likes to put it this way, in the words of the 23rd Psalm.  "The Lord if my shepherd."  This writer is not smart enough to figure out all of the time which way to go and how to go.  He, as are you, is willing to listen for input on how to find and fulfill purpose, meaning.  Yes, every human wants to feel they count, have value, purpose, and meaning.  It is at the core of our being if we are honest.  Thank you for putting this at the very start of your excellent discussion.  Dr. Rux
