Race Hustling Instead of Ethics

Kristyn, you have done an excellent job with Palmer, West Borgmann's views on race.  This writer prefers the approach of Immanuel Kant who argued that all humans share a basic humanity because of their capacity to reason.  Today, we focus on issues that separate, not unite us.  In fact, you could say that perpetuating divisions among people because of surface differences like race has become a "racket" for some people.  We call them "race hustlers."  Rather, let's get below the surface of skin color and focus on the internal makeup that each and every human shares.  On this foundation we can build a better, safer, healthier society that will last, even if it takes longer to build.  Those are the opinions of your humble servant here.  Unite, not divide.  This is the message of Kant.  Dr. Rux
