An Ethical Bull's Eye

Serena, yes, you make a bull's eye here with your observation that to live an ethical life requires balance between body and spirit, work and play, self and others.  Aristotle taught the ethical power of the "Middle Way."  Buddha, at the same time, a half world away from Aristotle, also taught the power of and need for the ""Middle Way" to lead healthy, ethical, satisfying lives.  You restate these two classic thinkers.  What has changed since 500 B.C. when Aristotle in the West and Buddha in the East - without any form of communication between them - arrive at the same conclusion as do you:  Middle Way.  Exactly!   Dr. Rux
