Convergence of Education, Business and Industry

Yes, educators need to recognize they are in a business, because they get resources and they ought to get results from them.  This is standard business logic.  As our economy continues to tank more and more education will have to learn to think like business.  On the other hand, in the Knowledge Economy, educators have much to teach business,  industry about how to work with Knowledge Workers in the new Knowledge Economy.  It is a fascinating coming together, convergence of two areas that until now saw themselves as separate totally from the other.
