Peer Support

            A peer understands your struggle as a doctoral student. Many of us are working adults with families. It is natural to make mistakes while completing an assignment. Another valuable takeaway from RES 704 is learning how to accept feedback from peers. “Peer review of student writing can deepen conceptual understanding, improve writing skills, and familiarize students with what constitutes good versus poor work” (Topping, 1998).   

 

As we have noted during our course, peer learning, peer support are a great "practice lab" for gaining skills in online teamwork.  Thank you for stressing this process as a key course outcomes.
