Jacob, philosophy divides into three parts: ontology, what is; epistemology, how do we know what is; and axilology, of what value is it to know what is. Axilogy is another word for relevance. Of what value is knowing, knowledge? Therefore, axiology and relevance become the key drivers to motivate learners. In science, pure science, we start with what is. In fact, values, relevance motivate us to search for what is in the first place.
