Machiavelli tells the truth about Truth.

Machiavelli observed that the political person never tells the truth, for the truth is dangerous. Rather, the political person hints at the truth but never reveals or embraces it. Persons who in fact tell the truth rise about political behavior as Machiavelli understood, observed it. He is of course amoral in his analysis - scientific if you like. This shocked others who still held the moral religious traditions of the fading Middle Ages. Machiavelli was a "Renaissance" man. Your humble servant here in fact keeps a copy of The Prince by Machiavelli for review from time to time to help this writer keep his balance between idealism and realism. Truth was rare then and still is now. Consider the hype of mass media around us.
