Education at its very best!

Erik, yes, in the end, if education works, we build personal bonds of respect and support. For instance, in July, I will be at the University of Toronto, where I earned a M.A., to visit with the principal of one of the constitutent colleges (Oxford model) there. He and I are going to explore how to honor the memory of our supervising professor, John S. Moir, who died in April of this year. Learning with him was a highly personal professional experience; he created bonds of loyalty that surpassed the degree work. He had the same bonds with his Ph.D. dissertation chair. Yes, personal professional respect and bonding are measures of success, especially at the doctoral or graduate levels. Dr. Rux
