Stephanie, the laws of statistics operate in our universe. It goes like this.

You break the rules, ethics, laws and get away with it over and over. In other words, every "flip" of the "coin" gives you a "heads."

But we know that in reality there is also statistically a time when the "flip of the coin" will result in "tails." In other words, sooner or later you will make a mistake and get caught.
